Nightwood is a furniture and design build studio in Brooklyn NY helmed by founder and fabricator, Ry Scruggs. Every piece and project is personally handcrafted from locally sourced materials with a dedication to organic elements and natural finishes. Ry has been designing and building bespoke furniture collections, custom built ins and interior spaces since 2007.
Nightwood was originally co created with textile and sculpture artist Nadia Yaron. The small but mighty studio team continues to evolve and always includes vital right hand women, collaborators and queer community. We are passionate about hand crafting functional works of livable art to make your space a place and your house a home.
